ahhhhh --

this song makes me want to weep tears of joy for how amazing it is.

This makes me happy.

I was so nervous about going on my trip because I didn't really know anyone.
Turns out, everyone who went from Chapman was awesome!
We only spent four days together, but I will have happy memories
of those days for a really long time.

Thanks guys.

St. Louis!

The trip was great!! I feel like it went by really fast, and even with this horrible cold I had the whole time, I enjoyed every minute of it! It was a good mix of business and pleasure!

I got to see Busch Stadium, The Arch, downtown St. Louis, and even found a cool independent book store a couple blocks from our hotel (which, of course, I ended up buying 5 books at - one that I found in the used books section from the 1920's that is a Children's book of Shakespeare "Stories" - AWESOME!)

My presentations went really well, I presented a poem and a short-story. I got some really good feed back on both, one guy gave me some awesome comments on my short-story, which was greatly appreciated coming from a complete stranger!

Ten of us flew out there from Chapman and we ended up all hanging out together the majority of the time which was really cool. Seven of the others were grad students, so I am sad to know I wont be seeing them in class now that we are back, but I have a good feeling I will still be seeing them around in the future.

Overall, It was a really fun trip!

crap.

I always forget to document where I get stuff from and then when I want to post it I can't remember.
That being said, if I have posted something that is yours and if this gives you a case of the sads - I will gladly take it down.
Now onto the good stuff...

As you can tell, none of these photos are related, and I like it that way.

I have loved this ring for a couple years now. I dont know if zales even still has it, but I dig it.

I have loved this little furball for almost four years now. She is the sunshine of my life (except when she makes the whole house smell with her stinky poo in the litter box)

I saw this dress on a blog and immediately felt a strong connection to its sunny, ruffly essence. it's me, in a dress. the end.

I just found this on 100layercake.com and I LOVE the photo shoot with the books. If you know me you know my obsession with old, smelly, water-stained books. This photo shoot will be in my future. Maybe five years from now, but never-the-less it will happen.

Thats all for now, I am going to go now and watch Pam have her baby on the office!
