halloween was practically a month ago and i have not blogged about it. come to think about it i haven't blogged about anything recently. we went to three different parties that night. one being his sisters 21st! yay gina! i was a deal or no deal girl- but half way through decided to be a doctor. im done typing now. enjoy pictures instead. xo

so- add this to the list of why corinne and I are totally awesome. Saturday night we decided since Zak was hanging out with friends that we would have a makeover/dance party. we have come to this conclusion. Greygoose + redlipstick + mamamia sounds track = amazing.... hahahahah

ps: when zak got home we made him help us make a music video but i cant figure out how to get that treasure on here quite yet. Maybe some day you guys will see that goodness...

everytime i get on this stinkin thing i say sorry for never blogging. its official. i suck at this, and i get frustrated because the pictures always come out in messed up orders. blah. well its been forever, as usual. its too late- im tired- i have school tomorrow ( on a friday, i know..) Chapman is going great, soooo busy though! i need to go to bed. more soon soon, i promise till then, here are a few randoms- for random reasons. dont ask why, its 12:22am <3

zak and I moved to orange the first of august so we could both be closer to school. corinne moved with us and is in the second bedroom which is like two rooms in one its so freakin big. so far its been so much fun. zak probably hates all the crazy woman hormones swiriling around but its been fun for corinne and I atleast. haha. thats buddy, he kicks ass. he keeps all the other cats in line.

so i was just realizing how i have not blogged for like two months! what a slacker... i was kind of laughing at myself because i always go onto other peoples blogs and get exciting when they have new stuff but then i never actually add shit to mine. i guess i just assumed no one reads mine, but then maybe those people feel the same way too. anyway, here i am, its june 17th and so much has been going on! we went to chicago with zak's family at the end of may when school ended! wow, how i love chicago! and wish i could just move there!








oh shit, i have to head out to go to work. i have so much more to blog but it will have to wait till later.... xo

baseball...

has been back for a few weeks but i guess i just have not blogged about it. well, come to think about it, i have not blogged about much latley. I have been busy with school and doing hair and nannying for the cutest baby ever. And I have been waiting to hear from chapman which has been like the longest wait ever. when i first applied i told myself i wasnt going to tell anyone because i was trying a semester early and that if i didnt get in then i would just not say anything and wait to apply next semester when i have 60 units.. but of course its been too hard not to say anything and now pretty much everyone knows. i always worry that i will be excited about something and then if i fail everyone will know and i will be 10,000 times more dissapointed.. but what i have come to find is that fail or succeed its so much more fun to let people onto the journey with you. and its ok, if say.. zak has to lay in bed with me as i cry and drool all over his shoulder. haha ew. anyway, i guess what im trying to say is that i am trying to change my ways a bit and actually be positive and excited about things instead of hoping for the worst and then being pleasantly happy if stuff works out. its just not as fun that way. weird, this blog started out about baseball. but in a way it kind of holds th same value for both. when you go to a game you dont sit there thinking they are going to lose and then cheer and give golf claps if they end up winning in the end. you (or atleast i) go dressed in your best team spirit garb, eat a hot dog, and cheer your heart out for the team you love (go padres!) because win or lose, half the fun is being in the moment and experiencing it as its happening. at the end of the season winning even one game over half can get you into the play offs. so its ok to lose some. its ok to lose a lot. you just have to keep on going and keep on fighting. and not give up because you have a couple bad series to the dodgers. ah, how profound my love is for baseball... and how much i learn from those $15 cheap seats high at the top of the stadium.

and it was so much fun! and Annette looked so beautiful! they are so happy together and I am so glad my dad has found someone who makes him smile so much!! here are a couple pictures I will post more when I get more from the photographer!!!

He just lays there.
I’m rushing around in my bra,
water from my long tangled hair dripping

With all my hustle and bustle he is still
peaceful, and quiet.

I stop half way through
putting on my shirt and just smile.
His back is turned to me;
my favorite blue checkered blanket
covering all of him but one jutted shoulder,
and the soft skin of the back of his neck.

My eyes lead me up
that sweet smelling neck
to the corners of his ashy blonde hairline,
I just cut short last week.

Messy and disheveled, it encompasses
his brain, that when awake is witty and inventive
but now in this moment, with small rays
of light illuminating one side of his unshaven cheek,

he’s just lying there,
lungs filling with air rhythmically
and exiting in the same soft cadence.

so i am officially hooked on braids. tonight was zak's moms annual fondue night so i thought I would try out another hairstyle involving my beloved braids, yay! it was a hit, even though zak thinks im funny for wearing braids since im not six anymore.. haha




















and here i am licking the amazing fondue chocolate off the spoon! mmmmm, i LOVE fondue! <3

so you know those movie stars who have been wearing all sorts of braided do's to award shows? i decided today that i would try it out and see how i went. haha here is my attempt. i just wish i could see the back of my head and that my arms didnt get so tired from braiding my own hair. oh, and butters wanted in on the photoshoot action so thats her being nosey <3

update 2008

So, its been forever since I have blogged because im lame and cant remember anything... so I thought I would do an update for anyone who cares...

AHh its 2008, wow.. thats crazy. Already this has been an eventful year! I am hopefully in my last semester at ivc (finally) and I have just sent off my applications to Chapman so I am keeping my fingers crossed for that!



My dad's wedding is coming up in like a month, which i am getting VERY excited for! I just went to my future sister's wedding like a month ago which was super fun and got me geared up in the wedding mood!
their ceremony was outside and it was pretty cold but so sweet and of course, i get all teary eyed. I am definitly a sucker for weddings. I have been trying to workout a lot of my dads wedding, so i dont look like a totally dork in my dress but the last couple weeks i have been sick and that is kind of side lining my efforts.
Jack and Butters are doing great! Butters still doesnt know how to cover her stinky poops in the litter box and im beginning to think she will never outgrow it! But i love them, my little babies, and they are constantly entertaining us, even though they always make zak so mad! hahah

here is my new addition for 2008. i love love love it!! hummingbirds are rad!
school this semester is good. i am taking a lit class as well as another poetry class which is like my heaven.. haha i have been writing a lot and my teacher is good at giving us exciting and interesting prompts to keep me inspired to write new stuff... here is one i wrote for class the week we were talking about love/sex and erotic poetry. erotic poetry as she described it, is writing about lust and sex but not nessesarily doing it with explicit language. sometimes, the tension of non explicit poems is greater than those that are overtly sexual. anyway, im babbling. here goes...

Well, I am off for now. its tuesday, which means american idol is on tonight. which means, i am a huge dork for watching it. and i have to say, this year there are some pretty crappy people even though the judges are SO convinced that this is like the best year. oh well. i am rooting for david archuleta <3


ohhhh ohhhh! ps: Zak and I have been bowling recently and both of us are getting pretty good! im pretty sure im going to try and find some bowling shoes on ebay so i can be a serious bowler! if anyone else likes to go you should come with us!!

blogspot, how you anger me...

so, i guess i shouldn't be blaming it on blogspot because its not their fault.. but as you all know i have a horrible horrible memory and i have like 10,000 passwords and usernames online and i have been trying unsuccessfully for months to figure out what my blogspot password is... with NO luck.

so today i give up, and start a new one... this one i wont forget! (i probably will anyway haha)
but, the bottom line is... this will be my new, and hopefully improved blog.
